The Fun Friday Continiues.....


The other thing I like doing is go out and listen to live bands playing. There are several live bands in Uganda and most of them are based in Kampala. One of the oldest bands is The Afrigo Band.  The bands play in different places at different times and two of my personal favorites is Janzi Band and Qwela Band. So on Wednesdays, I go to Zone 7, a nice Hangout in Kampala Bugolobi and listen to the Janzi Band play. The following week on Tuesday, I check out Qwela Band at Jazzville in Buglobi as well. It’s not a bore sitting there listening to contemporary music . So, if you are into listening to Live Bands, please check out the following places, Jazzville on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays and Zone 7 Wednesdays, both found in Bugolobi, Sheraton Kampala Hotel on Thursdays, Imperial Hotel on Sundays, Bamboo Nest on Thursdays. But let’s make this easy, Check out the bands websites and all the info is there. Believe me, you won’t regret it. To me, Live Music ( and I’m talking about Jazz here) calms me especially when I’ve had a nasty day.

What is happening in this world

Just a few months ago, people in my area were being poisoned over political issues and i just don’t understand why one would go to such length to kill a person. It is an annoying thing all together. Why should you kill someone when God hasn’t planned for that person to leave the world? He did not ask for help, he is able to do whatever he wants. Why should you take matters in your own hands and eliminate people just because you dislike the person? And these issues with politics can bring lots and lots of problems. Beautiful animals

I have this obsession with beautiful animals (I don't know if the word handsome applies to them) One of these beautiful animals are the rabbits When you look at a couple of rabbits, like these they are the best then look at these too Seriously, I have never seen bunny rabbits with my own eyes doing a high five, but hey, who am I TO QUESTION THEIR INTELLIGENCE. Then there's the UGANDAN respected Bird (the crested crane) Did you know that it is hard to get these birds and rare them as domestic birds? Well thats the fact, they are free birds and if you are seen shooting one of them by the wildlife authority, you have to pay a good fine. Seriously, look at the birds yourself and you will even loose the energy to kill one. They are extravagantly beautiful. HOW beautiful are they? Like I SAID, u lose the interest of even killing one. Now i dont have time to continue but there will be a part 2 to this article. first have fun with this.

DIARIES...........................Why?

DIARIES I know you’re probably wondering why I’m going to write about diaries. Considering that I’ve watched countless teenage movies and read countless novels, at least I know a thing or two about the use of diaries. The thing is it depends on who is using the diary and what for. Let me elaborate on this. A man or gentleman uses a diary for something different and a lady uses the diary for something different too. It’s on rare occasions that you find both the male and female using the diary for the same thing. A man uses a diary for writing down his schedule like who is he going to visit the next day or what time he is supposed to be in meeting, or what he needs to buy on his way back. Or even write down how he is going to pay the people who have done some work for him at a certain point or what happened sometime in the past, like how he forgot his wife’s birthday or even their anniversary.
